Today VAUDE is one of the very few privately owned enterprises in the industry that has successfully withstood the trend toward consolidation. The company has achieved continuous growth in the mountain sports, outdoor, bike and sports fashion sectors. 60% of our turnover comes from sales in Germany, 40% comes from exports. VAUDE products are sold world-wide.

Our company is based in Tettnang, between Friedrichshafen and Ravensburg near Lake Constance in southern Germany. About 200 employees and colleagues work here, where we offer a wide variety of apprenticeship and career training programs. This is also where a large part of our research and product development is played out.
