SPEED THREAD 100M C-GRADE ROD REPAIR
Speed has been at the forefront of rod binding thread for decades producing some of the world’s most easily worked and vibrant thread colours.
In more recent times, Speed thread is used in many factories for OEM rod building, including brands such as Atomic and Samurai, meaning that the quality is next to none and if it is able to be used in commercials rod building factories it is up to scratch, as you cant get away with lesser quality at a factory level!
Research and feedback from leading rod builders has led to the development of a range of colours and sizes stretching across multiple thread types and sizes including 100m, 30g and 120g.
Speed thread is made of specialised nylon fibres that accept epoxy finish beautifully, and importantly resists aging, and abrasion. The metallic threads are designed for to twist when laying on making working with metallics easy.
STC is the industry standard repair thread which is pre filled and is C grade thickness or 150D which is 50% thicker then B or just over double A grade thread thickness. It requires no colour preserver to maintain the colour appearance. It comes in 100m, 30g and 120g spools.
